• Burns and sunburn where the skin appears red, hot, shiny, and throbbing, with pain that is worse from touch. In cases of sunstroke, the face may be flushed with a pounding headache.
• Eye inflammation such as conjunctivitis, presenting with bright red, dry, inflamed eyes, throbbing pain, dilated pupils, and strong sensitivity to light.
